Raised in a small town in the Pee Dee region of South Carolina, Fr Seraphim grew up in the Church of God (Cleveland, TN) but always felt a calling to more sacramental life. After serving as pastor in several protestant churches, Fr Seraphim visited a Roman Catholic Parish in Summerville, SC and knew that he was at home. While there, he served as a Cathecist, Youth Minister, and Altar Server but felt led to find a place that allows for the fullness of Christ Church to be expressed. In 2022, he began his journey within the Convergent Catholic Communion. He was ordained to the Diaconate in March of 2022 then during the jurisdiction's General Assembly in November of 2022 was ordained to the Holy Priesthood. During General Synod of the United American Catholic Church 2024, Fr. Seraphim incardinated in the UACC. Currently he serves as the Senior Pastor of Saint Bonaventure Parish, National Secretary for the United American Catholic Church, and Chaplain for Port City Ambulance Service. Fr. Seraphim is a Tonsured Orthodox Catholic Monk with the Orthodox Catholic Community of Saint Brigid, where he serves as the Okonaimos (Treasurer)/Administrator and Ecumenical Liaison.
